About the program
Are you interested in studying at the Top 2 Engineering School to earn course credits, hone your academic abilities, and build your resume? The UC Berkeley Engineering GLOBE team is offering a new Online Undergraduate Visiting Student Program in Spring 2021 to help you achieve those goals at home! You will be able to take high-quality UC Berkeley undergraduate courses remotely. This program is highly personalized with one-on-one academic advising and many other sources of support. You will also have access to our graduate school application workshop series.

Who are eligible to apply for the program?
If you are an engineering student in good academic standing and want to pursue education and research opportunities in one of the top 3 engineering schools in the world, you should apply!
How many courses or units can I take?
For the Spring 2021 semester, students can take 3-15 units/semester, which is equivalent to 1-4 courses. We recommend students to take no more than 4 courses per semester. However, you can add more courses upon permission from the academic advisors.
Which majors does this program focus on?
All engineering students are welcome in all our departments under the College of Engineering, including Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Material Science Engineering, BioEngineering, and Nuclear Engineering.
How long is the program?
The Spring 2021 semester instruction begins on January 19, 2021 and ends on May 14, 2021.
